I’ve recently tried deluxe samples or full sizes of three different moisturizers in the late autumn and early winter. Here’s what I think of them.

#1. Amore Pacific’s Essential Creme Fluid

Liah Yoo loves this creme. The star component is green tea, which very effective for me. The texture is light yet luxuriously moisturizing. Unfortunately comes at a luxury price point of almost $100 per 90ml bottle.

#2. Dr. Jart’s Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream

It has a stellar formula of centella asiatica and vitamin b3, covering many purposes, including healing irritation, brightening, and anti-aging. Applied well as a sample on my hand, but on the face it was not emollient enough and felt too thick to apply and absorb smoothly.

#3. Etude House’s Moistfull Collagen Cream

Buttery soft and silky texture. Not many unique ingredients for brightening or anti-aging, but very hydrating. Thicker than my emulsions but absorbs quickly and easily without a heavy feeling afterwards.

The trophy goes to… Etude House. AmorePacific has a Grade A formula, ingredient list, and texture, but the price is overwhelming. Etude House checks all the boxes as a sufficient moisturizer for my routine and costs less than $20.
